Right off the bat, do not listen to some folks who will tell you that oven barbecue ribs are no good. Sure, I am a purist and I believe that you need to grill them up on your barbecue nice and slow. But sometimes it just is not possible. So I thought I would tell you a little about this one recipe. And I will actually include a couple of pictures here of them.
Here is the funny part. We had this at our son-in-laws brother's house. His older brother. Now not that it matters much but this guy is Vietnamese and he cooks the most amazing Vietnamese food that you will ever eat. Last year, the Christmas feast was exceptional. This year, he surprised us with what I would call a 'down home southern style meal.'
These oven barbecue ribs were so good! As soon as we walked in and I saw them in aluminum foil I knew where he had gone to get his recipe. In fact, he actually said that he gets all of his inspiration from the Food Network.
That was when I asked if it was Alton Browns baby back rib recipe and he said yes. But I have to tell you this is one fantastic recipe if you are looking for oven baked barbecue ribs. I gotta tell you one more time, if you are looking for oven barbecue ribs which will just fall off the bone, these R THEM! They will turn out so good for you that if you have friends over they will swear you ordered them from a barbecue shack or something. You just have to try them.
